The University of Connecticut regional campus at Avery Point, Groton is located on the Connecticut shore with its enviable view over Long Island Sound. It is a truly delightful setting for a start-up company.

Size: the size of the labs is variable and ranges from 116 square feet to 468 square feet.

Equipment: some labs are wet labs equipped with chemical fume hood and sinks. Others have no hoods. In addition we haverooms able to be used for dry labs and/or offices.

Utilities: hot and cold water, gas, DI water, vacuum and compressed air. Multiple power outlets including 110 and 220V. Phone and IT jacks provided at minimum of one per room.

Room features: some rooms are furnished with benches, shelves and cabinets. There is a window in every lab.

Rate: $12 per square foot annually, with a $2 increase per square foot per year. Heat and electrical included.

At Avery Point we offer 3,600 square feet of office space consisting of 14 offices of about 256 square feet each. In addition, there is a 2,500 square foot area of laboratory facilities with offices across the hall which is available for use by TIP companies.
